To my children, grandchildren and other descendants that I may have in the future:

WHAT MADE ME TICK

I have just returned from a World War II Air Force Veterans luncheon meeting, wherein we were implored or almost commanded to write about our experiences during World War II, sometimes known as the big war.  It was suggested that we owed it to our descendants to pass on some of our experiences.

 At the risk of boring you, I have decided to expand upon it and jot down some of my experiences from the beginning of my memory up til now, at the age of 77.

 I also am compiling my life experiences so that you may better understand some of my idiosyncrasies, and perhaps better understand what made me tick.
